Summary: Use SeeMe responsibly for legitimate video calls. Don't use it for illegal activities or to harm others. The service is provided as-is without guarantees.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SeeMe ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SeeMe provides peer-to-peer video and audio calling through your web browser. Calls are encrypted end-to-end and transmitted directly between participants. We do not record, store, or monitor the content of your calls.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • You must have a valid Google account to sign in
  • You must have legal capacity to agree to these Terms

4. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
  • You must not share your session or allow others to use your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users
  • Share illegal, obscene, defamatory, or harmful content
  • Share content that exploits or endangers minors
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Impersonate other users or entities
  • Use the Service for spam or unsolicited communications
  • Record calls without the consent of all participants

Important: You are solely responsible for obtaining consent before recording any call. Recording without consent may be illegal in your jurisdiction.

6. User Content

  • You retain ownership of any content you share during calls
  • You are solely responsible for content you share
  • We do not monitor, store, or review call content
  • We have no liability for content shared by users

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party services (Google OAuth, Google STUN servers). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Specific call quality or connectivity
  • Compatibility with all devices or browsers
  • Security against all possible threats
  • Availability at any particular time

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • We are not liable for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any (the Service is free)
  • We are not responsible for content shared by users during calls
  • We are not liable for actions of other users

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SeeMe and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of others
  • Content you share through the Service

13. Termination

  • You may stop using the Service at any time by signing out
  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms
  • We may discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be resolved through appropriate legal channels in the relevant jurisdiction.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
